Coffee on the Fly

When Gooseneck Coffee Co. was still just an idea, the very first thought of what kind of business we wanted to be was a coffee cart. We hadn’t considered roasting our own coffee but looked forward to the act of serving coffee directly to customers. Clearly, we’ve gone down a different path since those early formative days in 2016, but now we’ve come full circle.

On May 4th at the Plymouth Farmers Market, we will be serving brewed cups of coffee for the very first time.

On May 4th at the Plymouth Farmers Market, we will be serving brewed cups of coffee for the very first time. We’ll be offering a selection of different coffees throughout the market season, and are excited to also be offering a decaf option for the first time.

Growing Pains

The road to get to this point has been a long one. The first stone to fall was our partnership with Drifter Coffee, which allowed us to have our roasting facility licensed. Following that, we needed to also be approved and licensed to serve drinks. Lastly, we needed permission from the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce to serve prepared drinks during the market. With everything taken care of, all licensing and permission granted, we purchased a beautiful coffee cart and are ready to go!

Looking Ahead

Now everything is in place and we could not be more excited to begin this new facet of the company. Every Saturday, May through October, we’ll be set up inside The Gathering Stall serving up some delicious coffee!
