A majority of coffees coming from Ethiopia are considered to be an heirloom variety, meaning they come from a type of coffee plant that at one point grew wild in Ethiopian forests. Arsosala, on the other hand, comes from two specific varieties, bourbon and typica.
These two varieties are generally common throughout Central and South America. However, the African version of this plant is genetically unique, and this particular coffee offers an incredibly unique taste in the cup.
