Luya Hagen – Papua New Guinea

$16

A Gander coffee
Medium-Dark Roast • Spiced molasses, tobacco, citric

The Ulya farm was originally founded by Australian colonialist in the 1930’s, but when Papua New Guinea became independent from Australia, large sections of the land were redistributed to the indigineous New Guineans. Causing a little confusion, the farm, wet mill, and region of the country all share the name Ulya. The plantation and small shareholder then sell their crops directly to a mill in Mount Hagen, allowing for greater quality control and selection.
