Red Tana is the first time we’ve sourced coffee from Sulawesi, a large island in Indonesia. Unlike other Sumatran and other Indonesian coffees that are usually processed through a wet-hulled method, Sulawesi more often utilizes washed and honey processes.

This coffee is a Red Honey process, which means the coffee ferments in barrels for a few days, and then allowed to dry until the fruit is a red color. The honey process gives the coffee a strong punch of flavor like a natural would, yet still a clean taste like that of a washed coffee.
